Things You Might Not Think to Pack for Disney, But You Should

Packing your family for a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is no small feat. I start at least 30 days ahead of time, usually more, and work from a long, long list. Thankfully, we (usually) DRIVE to Florida and aren't at the mercy of luggage weight limits or baggage fees. That being said, here are some things that are on my packing list that many folks might not think about taking with them.

1. Your favorite toilet paper - My hubby hates the scratchy toilet paper at WDW, so he takes his own. No, I'm not kidding but yes, I wish I was.

2. Laundry detergent pods and collapsible hamper - I know, nobody wants to do laundry on vacation. But if you find yourself with an afternoon at the pool, do a few loads because it's a lot more fun to come home with clean clothes and not a mountain of dirty, stinky socks.

3. A small pair of travel scissors - If you buy your little prince or princess souvenirs while on vacation, a small pair of travel scissors will be your BEST friend for removing tags from items without ripping/ruining what you've just purchased.

4. A refillable water bottle for every member of your party- There is NO reason to spend $3 (or more!) on a bottle of water, not now, not ever. So scour your local Target, Dollar Tree, wherever you shop, and pick up refillable water bottles that don't leak. Take these with you in your park touring bag. Fill them up in the Baby Care Centers in each park (they have cold water via water coolers -SCORE!). And save your pennies for souvenirs.
